We were looking for a handyman to fix and upgrade a myriad of things around our older house and found Working Class Hands (WCH) online through a stroke of luck. Google serendipitously pointed us towards WCH, and we reached out to Gaven, the business owner, after reading the highly positive reviews. We were not disappointed - we found Gaven to be very professional, honest, and kind. He was punctual for appointments, responsive to queries, transparent with his quotes, and advised us not to undertake unnecessary, costly repairs. Gaven was most meticulous and thorough with the project. We had rusted valley trays replaced, ridge capping repointed, cement bedding for gable barge tiles and eyelets redone, and fascia headboards changed. The end products look solid and well-presented. And Gaven would always do a little bit more than he needed to: Extending the valley tray to ensure that rainwater runs well away from the eaves, moving slightly chipped tiles to the back roof so that they're not visible from the street, fixing a small leak in the gutter and repointing a third gable even though they weren't included in the scope, and thoughtfully painting the part of the barge boards that couldn't be accessed for painting after mounting, before he put them up. We have been most impressed and will certainly recommend WCH to friends and anyone in our community enquiring about home maintenance.

I recently hire Gaven to do a few jobs on the roof. He spent four days on the roof and did an amazing job. He even went above and beyond his job in which I can’t thank him enough.
